10 Last-Minute Halloween Costumes
Halloween is upon us — two days away upon us — but that doesn’t mean you’re stuck as a sheet-ghost if you haven’t picked a costume yet. Check out these 10 awesome last-minute Halloween costumes that will give that expensive store-bought one a run for its money:
1. Castaway Couples Costume
Him: Dirty, tattered white T-shirt and khakis shorts. Add a FedEx to complete the look.
Her: A white T-shirt made to look like a volleyball (Sharpie time!) and don’t forget the red handprint (Wilson!).
2. Pinterest Board
Take a white T-shirt, white pants, and add a corkboard full of Pinterest-like photos around your neck. Voila!
3. Crazy Cat Lady
One pink bathrobe, some cute fluffy stuffed kitties, slippers, and some hair rollers equals one cute Crazy Cat Lady costume.
4. Dirty Laundry
Cut a hole in a laundry basket and carefully (because how else do you do it?) place some laundry around the basket. You can even add some empty laundry detergent containers or a dirty sock headband.
5. Identity Thief
This one is quick, easy, and cheap! Grab a pack of “Hello, My Name Is….” tags, write a bunch of different names on them, and stick ‘em all over your shirt.
6. Bunch of Grapes
Grab some green or purple balloons, blow them up, then attach them to your clothes of the same color. Add some fake grapevine on your head, and you’re good to go.
7. Wilson
You may have all the pieces for this costume already: flannel shirt, fisherman’s hat, and popsicle sticks. Combined, you’ve got one neighborly costume.

9. Bank Robber
Black pants, black and white horizontally striped shirt, and a white bag (for the money!). To top it off, paint or buy a black mask and add a black cap.
10. Bag of Jelly Beans
Take a clear garbage bag and cut holes for your arms and legs, fill with colorful balloons for the jelly beans, and tie with a ribbon up near your neck.
