What to Consider

Material Quality
Cheaply-made trampolines can be dangerous. They don't have the safety standard or durability to last with heavy play. Always choose a heavy duty trampoline known for high standards of safety. Space
Think about how much space you have for your outdoor trampoline. A smaller square trampoline has a smaller footprint for limited spaces. A larger round trampoline offers more bounce space if you have the room.
Age and Number of Jumpers
If you have older children or multiple jumpers, consider a larger trampoline that allows enough space for all. Smaller trampolines are better for younger children or single jumpers.

When choosing the correct backboard size for your family, it is important to consider the size of your play area. This allows you to choose the correct size backboard for your skill level and driveway size.
Round
They have equal jumping distances across
the entire surface from middle to edge
and have a single landing ‘sweet spot’ in
the center. Round trampolines are known
to have a lower bounce which makes
them safer for children of all ages.
Oval
Offer more bounce space, making
them the style of choice for families
with siblings. They have a larger surface
area compared to round styles, and
they have more bounce than a round
trampoline too.
Rectangle or Square
Known to provide larger bounce
and a longer jumping area. They have
three landing ‘sweet spots’ that give
you optimal bounce while absorbing
your rebound
